A 7-minute walk from Simplon Pass, it's near Aletsch Arena, Villa Cassel, and the Jungen Cable Car.

The food was delicious with an Italian flair. This small, simple mountain hotel feels more like a family home than a typical hotel, so it’s very flexible with requests and meal times. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel sits on a tower at the top of the Simplon Pass, offering amazing Alpine views and many great hiking options. The restaurant is divided into three sections: one for daytime guests, one for dinner, and one for breakfast. Every part of the circular restaurant boasts a stunning view of the Alps. In the middle of the building is a higher tower that houses the bedrooms, and there are also rooms in a neighboring building. Breakfast is a generous buffet, and we were allowed to take bread and coffee (in a thermos) for our hikes. In the rooms, a few wall hooks would be useful for hanging coats or towels. Because the hotel sits on the pass, right on the pass road, traffic noise can be disruptive at times.
