“Would not recommend it”

It was pretty good, but the coffee machine didn’t work, the fridge didn’t work, the tub tap dripped loudly all night, the sink plug wouldn’t work so I had to pull it out, and the carpet needed updating and wasn’t vacuumed.

“Scary”

The staff were decent, but everything else was awful. The room and bathroom were dirty, and homeless people kept coming in and out through the back door. I think they even rented a room to a homeless person who used the shower for sketchy activities. We also saw two prostitutes exit the room on bikes and leave the area. It was super weird, and a group of homeless people were gathered around a bonfire in the parking lot. I thought I’d arrived at a shelter. Never again; I’m traumatized for life.

“I hope it gets better after construction.”

I liked how close the hotel was to stores and the mall, and the room was big with a comfortable bed. The construction was a pain, and I didn’t get clear instructions on how to reach my room, which I wish had been easier. I have low oxygen, so stairs are a nightmare.

“The rooms are very good, especially for the price. The Wi-Fi barely works, but it’s being fixed.”

The property was well‑located near a physical rehab clinic where my daughter needed to stay for a few weeks, and the room was clean and comfortable. The Wi‑Fi in the room was so bad it was unusable. I complained to the general manager and emailed him, but I didn’t hear back until after I checked out—over 24 hours later. A few hours after checking out, he finally responded to a request from the hotel to evaluate my stay, explained that he’d recently taken over the hotel and was fixing things, including the Wi‑Fi. I was disappointed that it took a mediocre review for him to contact me, but he did reach out.
