Nice location, good facilities. There was a smell of smoke in the room—probably from previous occupants who smoked there.

“It was an okay stay.”

The Host was very nice and greeted us at a late hour, showed us around the house and gave us a little history of the house. It could use nicer pillows and some housekeeping

The location is fine. A short bus ride and you’re in the center of Galway. The parking spaces right in front of the building were very helpful. Check‑in and check‑out were uncomplicated and flexible. I can’t quite understand the positive reviews. Unfortunately it was a disappointing accommodation. Eight rooms share a single kitchen. It is well equipped, but for so many guests it’s clearly too small. We didn’t feel comfortable there and mostly went out to eat instead of cooking ourselves. The house overall feels worn out. The carpet was spotted and sticky. There were water stains and salt efflorescence on the wall corners and at the base. The blinds on the windows were full of dark spots, likely mold or insect residue. Overall the room looked unkempt and damp. For this standard the price is not justified.

The owner was available and the kitchen was spacious and fully equipped, nothing else to mention.

The home had character, a beautiful atrium in the kitchen, and a quiet space with good coffee, but the room felt damp, the heater didn’t work, and the blind in the room needed replacing.
