“Great stay Wingate by Wyndom in Elkins, West VA!”
They welcomed us with coffee, water, and cookies that were available 24 hrs, and the TV was huge—everything else was perfect.

The front‑desk guy was amazing, but the bed itself was terrible.

The beds were comfy, the hotel was clean and quiet, and the sheets were thicker than the usual thin, flimsy ones. Breakfast, however, was mediocre—the eggs felt reconstituted, the shower and tub looked dated, and the temperature was hard to control.

Breakfast was decent and the staff were pleasant and accommodating, but the hotel feels dated and needs an update. The room doors were swapped for cheaper birch ones that fit poorly, likely lack a proper fire rating, and have flimsy latches and locks.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was professional and courteous. Shower head in bathroom was not good
