The room was pleasant and the gardens lovely, but there was no Wi‑Fi code, the host was called away and couldn’t provide breakfast, yet they reached out before arrival and we settled on a discount.

The host was nice and warm, communication superb, breakfast great, all requests were met, the bathroom with a tub was fantastic, the décor elegant and modern, the atmosphere family‑friendly, the bus connection good, and St Albans is a beautiful city with many walking routes and markets.

The bedroom view overlooked a beautiful manicured garden, but a fan in the room was welcome; when it ran, a bright light shone from it, so I switched it off, and it was a very hot night.

A basic ensuite bedroom with tea and coffee making facilities, a water bottle, and a fan. The room was quite clean. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee was excellent. Nothing to complain about.
