“A warm welcome in a beautiful location, but the accommodation itself did not match the listing”
The owner was warm, welcoming, and helpful, and we loved the mountain setting with its beautiful views and calm vibe. We enjoyed discovering this part of Montenegro and were grateful for the chance to stay in such a scenic spot. However, the place turned out to be far more basic than the listing promised. The three‑bedroom apartment was basically three rooms with beds only, lacking a kitchen, washing machine, table, chairs, storage, or any shared living space. There was no kettle or way to make tea or coffee, and the only drinking water came from the bathroom sink. If we wanted to sit, we had to sit on a bed, and there was no surface for anything else—no cupboards or drawers. We also struggled on arrival because proper towels and bedding were missing. The rooms had no air conditioning, and although the listing mentioned blackout blinds, there were only thin curtains or netting that didn’t block light or offer privacy. Being above a bar meant there was significant noise. Other advertised features—outdoor furniture, a dedicated workspace, and the farm experience—were absent. Updating the listing would help future guests set realistic expectations.
