The building sits at the start of the road to the orangutan rehabilitation center in the city center, is clean and fine for a one‑ or two‑night stop, though it can feel a bit uncomfortable after a while. The dinner restaurant is great, with delicious and varied dishes even for vegetarians, and breakfast is okay. It would be nice if a shuttle or bus were arranged to the orangutan rehabilitation center or the forest research center, since those are the main nearby attractions.

“Brilliant experience- great stay”

The location is brilliant—just a 1 km walk to the orangutan and sun bear sanctuary. The room had air conditioning and was comfortable, and the attached restaurant was amazing, offering lovely local food and great staff.

The dorm was roomy, had working AC and fans, and the other guests and staff were nice. The orangutan rehab center, sunbear sanctuary, and rainforest discovery center are all very close and walkable. The showers are often non‑functional and the hot water runs out quickly; the pillows and beds were uncomfortable, and vegetarian options were very poor.

“Super recomendable reservar habitación”

I loved this accommodation; the receptionist was super nice and honestly one of the best hotels I’ve been to in Malaysia. The only downside is that I only stayed for one day, but it was perfect and highly recommended. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect.

“Great for a short stay”

The staff were welcoming, the place was clean, the AC worked well, and the spot was great. The mattress felt hard and the water pressure was weak during the day, but overall it still offered good value for the money.
