“We will not be back -,too pricey for what you get”
The view and room location were great. Everything was very expensive. The meal we had was okay, but the steak was over‑cooked; I didn’t send it back. The elevator was worn and dirty. The room was worn but looked clean—however, on our first night I found a pair of shorts poking out from under the bed that weren’t ours—does that mean it wasn’t vacuumed? My husband brought back 2 Danish pastries and 2 cups of juice two mornings in a row… each cost $22. The Danish were stale. Absolutely nothing was complimentary compared to other high‑end hotels. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The pools, lounge areas, and beach exceptional. Pool waiters were awesome and very attentive with food, water, and drinks. The check in girls very rude, unpleasant, considering this is the 1st interaction you have of was quite off putting. They were more worried about the schedules of employees, who’s off when, etc, then greeting us and welcoming us to the resort or check us in for that matter and let us get to our rooms. The bartenders in the lobby bar were super rude both days there, felt like I was doing them a favor anytime I went up. We ordered twice for take out and they seemed completely disinterested to help us and left us waiting way long for the food to come out and at one point had to ask a different server who immediately brought out what we had been waiting for. Very under impressed
“Seeing remodels going on. Friendly service. Enjoyed our stay overall”
We've been staying at King and Prince for years, drawn by the nostalgic feel and the great location—just a short walk or bike ride to nearby restaurants. We received an upgrade, and everyone was friendly; they even had a room ready for us early, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the lack of a coffee pot in the room, a slightly discolored patch around the shower trim, and the bar staff needing a bit more help clearing tables of dirty dishes to speed up turnover for incoming guests.

The resort is beautiful. The staff are friendly and the room is amazing. The food was delicious. There were no pool towels at the villa pool.

The historic vibe, the ultra‑comfortable bed and pillows, the cool, refreshing pool water, and the pre‑arranged umbrellas and chairs on the beach were all spot on. We just wished the room had a coffee maker and a microwave, but otherwise everything was perfect.
