Getting to the hotel was a breeze from both Ōdōri‑Eki and Katsuyama‑chō‑Eki, and the room was just the right size for a business stay, with a good breakfast; Matsuyama Castle was within walking distance, so we enjoyed a morning stroll to see the castle’s exterior and the city view (the lift and the castle were closed before opening hours). As an e‑cigarette user, I found the smell in the first‑floor smoking room overwhelming and would have liked better ventilation, so I had to step out to the convenience store’s outdoor smoking area.
