El Roble Hotel feels cozy, decent, and clean, exactly as the photos show. Our room was a bit small, but the mini fridge and coffee maker were handy. It’s a bit far from the eco park and downtown, yet closer to Cenote Azul and Los Rápidos, so it depends on what you’re after. The staff are friendly and responsive, though English communication was a challenge. All in all, it’s a good spot with friendly people.
