I stayed in a charming, safe suburb of Anchorage, just 15 minutes from downtown and the army base; the beds were very comfortable, the room was roomy, the mountain view from the window was nice, and the bathrooms were fully renovated and pleasant. However, housekeeping visits were infrequent, and they didn’t provide many toiletries like soap or toilet paper. The window shades were decent but didn’t block out light during the Alaskan summer.
