I stayed at Nyoman Guesthouse for three months and felt at home from day one. It’s on a quiet street yet only five to ten minutes from everywhere, the place is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and the pool is always clean! Everyone at the guesthouse is always happy to help with any information you might need. Another plus is the coffee shop at the entrance of the guesthouse which is amazing and all the guys working there are very friendly. I’ll come back to this guesthouse every time I’m in Bali from now on

The communication with Nyoman is good, always through Booking. He let me check in an hour early. The curtains are blackout and help you sleep without too much light. There’s a free water dispenser. The Hopper café is pretty good and the waiters are super friendly The room lacks lighting, the light that is there is weak and there’s no lamp on the nightstand. It’s unacceptable that they put sheets with stains (photo attached) and they smelled weird. They only put two sheets, no comforter or blanket. The pillows are old, uncomfortable, have a strange smell and are overused (I had to put my own towel on top to sleep). The bathroom is old, poorly maintained and dirty, they forget that the wall tiles also need cleaning! The towels are super used and smell weird. On my first night there were two cockroaches in the bathroom, I killed one (photo attached) and the other came in through the shower drain (they know this, they could put a grill in the drain so they don’t come out or fumigate so they die and don’t roam around). The bathroom trash can is old and dirty. Shower water has very little pressure. The bathroom smells damp. The sink is dirty. They don’t put shampoo or shower gel. There are dogs inside the guesthouse that bark every night at some point because they fight and wake everyone up… and the worst is the cigarette smell in your room (even with the door closed) because the cleaning man smokes next to the room. I usually don’t post reviews like this because I know what it does to the accommodation, but I can’t find anything positive about the room, I feel deceived. It doesn’t cost the money I paid and I’ve been to more modest towns but it feels like this accommodation is worth less than 10 euros a night. I don’t understand how it has such a high rating, but my room, it’s not worth it

Good price/quality – nice AC – the cafe next to it is AWESOME :) – the staff (Didi) who comes to clean every day is very lovely The bathroom is quite old, the shower has bad water pressure
