The place was spotless and smelled fresh, but there were a few noises coming from the floor above and the breakfast was basic.
Self‑check‑in was perfect, especially if you arrive in the evening, and Castor Bay is close enough for a walk.

It felt like a home away from home; the owners supplied a thoughtful selection of coffee/tea, full milk, boxes of cereal, and handy touches like a ring holder, shampoo, body wash, soap, etc. The property was immaculate, clean, and spacious, and the owner gave clear yet easy directions for accessing it. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. Nothing to fault.
The room itself was set up really nicely with great facilities, yet you can hear absolutely everything from upstairs; on the first evening I struggled to sleep because I thought a child was stomping around, so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll likely be woken by footsteps.
