A spacious cabin with exactly what we needed. We were two, running a marathon with a target at Skåbu.

A huge house with a lovely view and plenty of quiet. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are good. The bathroom is simple and small but has a good shower. The surroundings are perfect, with plenty of walking options and fantastic routes for cycling (Peer Gynt, Jontheimvegen, and towards Rondane). Because cleaning and bedding are not included in the price, the value‑for‑money feels a bit off when you’re staying with two people.

The stay was cheap but comfortable, with a large space for preparing and enjoying meals. The host was responsive and everything needed was in a visible, easily reachable spot, so I didn’t have to waste time asking extra questions. The accommodation itself was very beautiful.

The hosts were friendly and gave us plenty of information about the area. The cottage was simple but in a remote spot that we loved! We’ll definitely return, and the surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning.
