The location was perfect - just a short walk from the train station and all the action in Ximending.
The bathroom was also a nice surprise, with a big tub and a real door (no glass walls here!).
The room was a great size, and there are plenty of shops and stores nearby.

Being right next to Taipei Main Station meant there were plenty of places to eat nearby, so I’d definitely consider staying here again, though the soundproofing left something to be desired.
Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and comfortable, the staff were all friendly, and having an electric kettle and tea bags in the room was very convenient.

After stepping out of the elevator, a housekeeper checked my room number and showed me the way, and everyone was extremely kind—thank you so much. At night, the fans in the neighboring room were extremely noisy; I wish guests would be more considerate abroad. The noise from the next door, including voices and music I could even identify, carried a bit, making the sound echo.
“決して新しくはないし綺麗とはいえません。ただ、不潔とも言えないので、寝泊まりだけでいいのであればお勧めする価値はあると思います。”

When I returned on day three the room hadn’t been cleaned and there was no water replenished. The air‑conditioner was unusually loud, so I turned it off at night since the room didn’t get that hot. Footsteps from the floor above were very noticeable, which might bother sensitive guests. I also spotted one or two ants in the bathroom each day, likely coming through a small gap; insect‑averse travelers might want to think twice.
