We booked a standard room without a sea view but received one with a wonderful outlook; the sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. The reception staff were very friendly, yet the terrace service was slow and seemed uninterested.

The rooms were a good size, clean, and offered a balcony view of the pool and harbour.

The restaurant sits on a gorgeous terrace with a sweeping view of the entire large bay, and below it a lovely pool with plenty of loungers that also overlook the coves; the cable car lifts you down the slope and back up again—really cool! The house is very noisy; the room doors aren’t sealed, so hallway sounds are picked up sharply.

We were thrilled about the upgrade to a high‑quality room, but the reception staff couldn’t speak German, so checking in was a bit tricky.
