“Le plus bel hôtel où j’ai séjourné en Thailande ❤️”
Since I first came to Thailand, this is probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed in, not just because of the room but the entire experience, especially the service quality. Each accommodation is a real independent villa; the room is huge, with a real dressing, a very large bathroom, a spacious shower, and even a separate room with an enormous bathtub. The real luxury is the private pool, which is not a small decorative basin but a real pool large and deep enough to swim, with a stunning view of the rice fields and the stream that runs through the property. Privacy is also well thought out – each villa is protected from neighbors’ view so you can enjoy the terrace and pool in complete silence, even if you want to swim naked. Inside, everything is ready; there’s a very well stocked minibar, though the items are obviously chargeable. For the bath, salts are offered and bubble bath is available for a small reasonable extra. A word about the bed, because it truly deserves mention: in Thailand I often find mattresses too hard, but here it’s just right. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, plus a very large TV and everything you’d expect from a property of this level. What impressed me most was the service. The property is huge and you move around in small electric cars. When you arrive or want to return to your villa, the staff come quickly to pick you up. Everything is simple, efficient, and extremely pleasant. And the staff are genuinely caring.
I would add three small points that don’t take away from the exceptional quality of the stay, but I think they could be improved. First, the cameras: I noticed there were some above the villas and they seemed aimed at the private pools. I don’t know their exact purpose, but in a place where privacy is one of the biggest assets, it made me a bit uneasy. Second, the Wi‑Fi: when it works, it’s very good, but it drops regularly. My phone kept switching to mobile data, and in two days a large part of my data plan was used. That’s probably the technical issue that needs the most attention. Finally, breakfast: it’s extremely plentiful, the eggs are made to order, the orange juice is fresh, the coffee is excellent, and the service is flawless. But as a Westerner, I missed one simple thing: good fresh bread. The bread was quite dry and hard, as were the croissants. It’s a detail, and probably a cultural taste issue, but in a property of this level, improving the bread and pastries would make a real difference. These are three minor points against a stay that remains, for me, exceptional.
