The location was solid and there were plenty of good restaurants around, plus public transport was easy to get to. But paying $500 for a room that was only slightly bigger than a single bed, had no bathtub, a phone whose cord was almost falling out, and elevators that didn’t read my keycard reliably and rushed so fast I felt like I might fall, was ridiculous. Adding an extra $30 for continental breakfast was just absurd.

The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant, and overall we were very satisfied with our stay and felt it offered excellent value for money. Unfortunately, a very disappointing incident seriously affected our experience: a pair of our shoes that we left in the room disappeared. We reported the issue to the hotel staff several times and asked them to help locate the shoes, but they were never found. The hotel staff told us that they would keep looking for them and that, if the shoes could not be found, we would be compensated. However, it has now been almost a month, and we have received no update, no follow‑up, and no compensation. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially because we were otherwise very happy with the hotel. We sincerely hope the hotel will take responsibility and follow up on this matter as promised.
