The location was good. The room had what was needed. The music (the first floor is a nightclub), construction at 7 am, the hallway AC broke and leaked a lot of water that seeped into our room. I reported it to the hotel and they said a lady would come to clean it, but the hallway water stayed there for DAYS until it absorbed. They also said they would change our room, but that never happened. My partner and I had to improvise to dry all the water that had entered the room. We used towels (which smelled like armpits) to dry the leak. The worst part was just before we left; we checked the room to make sure we left nothing behind and found underwear right behind the bed—meaning we had slept those days with someone else’s underwear. So please, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The accommodation is close to various restaurants and very lively bars in San Juan. It’s only a 10 m walk to an animated street with several bars and a 10 m Uber ride to Old San Juan. I didn’t appreciate how the cleanliness really left to be desired! The microwave was dirty, there was a damp smell in the lodging, dishes were dirty, the TV had sticky stains, dust hadn’t been wiped from the bed frame, the kitchen tap was dirty, the bathroom sink was dirty, and the floor was clearly not cleaned or washed. Our feet quickly turned black… We felt the cleaning staff only did a surface clean, which is very disappointing. It’s a nice apartment that lacks love… if the cleaning staff took the time to clean properly, our experience would have been better.

The location is great, perfect for what I was looking for. The bed is comfortable.

The spot is fantastic—plenty of eateries and the beach is practically next door. The club that’s attached to the rooms can get pretty loud, but we used ear plugs and it didn’t bother us much; just let guests know what to expect.
