The arrival was a surprise: no lights, no cars in the park, we were alone, which felt a bit unsettling, but everything was very well organized with codes to enter the house and room, a great breakfast, and the location and room were stunning for a very reasonable price. The feeling of being alone in the world was intense.

The setting was beautiful and calm, with access via codes to the estate and room. Exhausted, I didn't get to use the pool or sauna, and I felt alone, meeting two people who seemed to be doing maintenance.

We liked the charm of the building, the ability to park our bikes safely, and the nearby restaurant we could walk to. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it would help to have a front‑desk contact because human interaction matters to us; that said, the detailed arrival instructions and access codes let us settle in on our own without trouble.

“A peaceful hidden world behind the gates”

It’s an incredibly quiet and peaceful spot, oddly close to a busy road, yet once you pass the gates it feels like a whole different world. We stayed just one night, but it was unforgettable. We enjoyed the pool and sauna, and the manor’s garden with fruit trees and a magnificent cedar tree. The sense of having the property almost entirely to ourselves, with no staff around, added to the charm and made the experience even more special. Whenever we had questions, someone was always available and responsive via WhatsApp. Some guests might find it odd to stay in such a large place without seeing any staff, but that’s part of its charm, though you should be aware of it.
