Castello Vicchiomaggio, a 15th‑century castle just outside Greve in Chianti, blends historic charm with modern comfort. The place is very pretty, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are good and the courtyard with the view is typical of Tuscany. We took a tour the property offers to its vineyards and winery that ended with dinner and wine tastings, which was very successful and tasty. The pool with the view is lovely. Overall a very good experience and recommended; there’s a wine shop at the entrance to the compound below, the wines are good and guests get a discount. Breakfast lacked vegetables, but overall it’s fine; the room was a bit small but not a big deal.

A nice place, close to the town of Graba. The pool is impressive, the hotel restaurant is good. Recommended to take a wine tour at the hotel’s winery.
