Beautiful, restful 'pod' house with a private porch and amazing views. The hosts are friendly and generous. I first discovered Ahuru House while looking for places that would accept our dog, and I was absolutely thrilled to find such a lovely spot. There are many luxury touches, including a jar of cheese biscuits for the dog. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

I had an amazing stay at this place – Lisa and Graham were fantastic hosts, and the property was very luxurious. We brought our dog, Pinot, and he had a great time too. There were no negatives; everything was awesome!

The location is peaceful and beautiful, with quiet surroundings and a stylish yet comfortable interior. There’s nothing to dislike – the hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Lisa and Graham were incredibly welcoming – probably the best hospitality we’ve experienced lately. I highly recommend the three‑course dinner; the food was amazing, and breakfast was a treat. The room was beautiful, well equipped, and spotless. We can’t wait to return :)

I can’t recommend Ahuru House and its hosts enough. From the warm welcome at the start, through the pleasant accommodation with thoughtful touches, to the stunning view and the absolutely delicious homemade breakfast, our stay was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, and the facilities were extremely clean and well presented. Lisa and Graham are a fountain of knowledge, ready to advise on local food, events, films, design, and architecture, and they’re great company for a chat. During our stay, shortbread and other tasty treats (including scrumptious pâté, local wine, croissants, and outstanding chilli jam) were delivered with friendly professionalism. We really appreciated being able to bring our dogs and it was a delight to meet their furbabies, who were sweet and friendly. We will definitely book with them again.
