Located in the heart of Tepoztlán, the adults-only Hotel Teocalli Boutique is a 10-minute walk from the city center. This relaxation-focused hotel features an outdoor pool, massage service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The rustic-style rooms offer air-conditioning, wardrobe, and telephone line, along with a shower and free toiletries in the bathroom. A Mexican restaurant and bar serve meals from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm.

The place was quiet, the temazcal experience was great, and the staff treated us with genuine care.

The location is close to the city center, about 10 minutes on foot, though the walk is uphill and can be a bit tiring. The hotel is very small; the only area that offers true peace and isolation is the room, and outside that there are no relaxing spaces. The room feels too rustic and lacks enough power outlets; we had to move the kettle to reach a socket. The pool is bad—no heated water and it was freezing. Breakfast was also poor: only a few thin slices of fruit (melon, apple, a strawberry, and one grape), coffee, and green juice; if you want protein you must buy something from the menu, which is decent. We only had one activity during our stay (Fri–Mon) and more variety would be nice. We lost power one night and it didn't return until the next morning.
