“Traumhaft, absolut zu empfehlen!!”

The hotel sits in a beautiful spot, right in the center, and the terrace with its lovely seats and loungers gives a dreamy view of the Tuscan landscape; I’d have stayed a few more weeks. The pool right off the terrace invites you to swim, and I was traveling alone but had a large, comfortable double bed in room 401. The shower is a dream: huge and with excellent water pressure, something I’ve never experienced in any other hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here. Travelers need to be good walkers because the alleys and small streets are quite steep, but the views are magnificent from anywhere. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and I was lucky to be able to park my rental car right in front of the building. I have nothing to complain about (the toilet paper could have been multi‑layered). There is a kettle in the room, but the only outlet that fits is the one by the TV, so it’s best to bring an adapter.

The location is excellent and the pool overlooking the valley is beautiful. The room was noisy because it faced the street, had uncomfortable windows, and was quite narrow. The bathroom is old and needs renovation.

Breakfast was good and the views were great, though the beds might be a bit off.

I liked the location and staying up in Montalcino meant everything was close. The breakfast wasn’t good; the scrambled eggs were made from powder and all the fruit was unripe.

The garden with its pool and stunning view is absolutely dreamy, and yet you’re right next to the old town. The location justifies the slightly high price.
