The place felt like a family home, as if we'd known the owners forever; the staff were helpful and kind, and there was nothing to improve.

The property is beautifully situated on the riverbanks with lovely gardens, close to Cradle and other venues such as Kloofzicht; it offers great value for money and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

The complex delivers an amazingly cozy vibe that far exceeded what we imagined, with tasteful décor, a lovely terrace overlooking the view, and excellent furnishings; we liked everything inside the rooms, even though they felt a bit small, which was probably a price‑related compromise since we booked the cheaper tier. Everything else was flawless, and while the immediate area may not offer much, it’s more than sufficient for horse enthusiasts, plus there are at least two interesting attractions within a 30‑40 km radius: Rhino&Lion Natural Reserve and Cradle of Humanity.
