The restaurant staff were very friendly, but the bathroom urgently needs a renovation.

This is a cozy hotel in a quiet setting with plenty of parking in front of the building. I booked a single room, which was spacious enough and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a wide selection. I appreciated that the restaurant stayed open in the evenings. In the room, I could make coffee or tea if needed. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and always helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and inviting for hikes; the Barbarossa Cave and the crooked tower of Bad Frankenhausen are worth seeing. The Therme was closed due to construction, but that did not affect my stay. I had nothing to complain about.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic; the view from the terrace is also worth it. The interior is a bit dated and could use a refresh.
