“Puiki šeimos/draugų atostogų vieta norint patyrinėti apylinkes.”
I was drawn to the lovely surroundings of the property, and the little house felt like a cottage from a postcard. Inside it was cozy and simple yet functional, with a touch of authenticity and a few interesting details chosen. The kitchen had everything we needed—pots, pans, wine glasses, tea, and sugar. The hosts had taken care of drinking water. The sauna was a bit tricky to light at first, but we finally managed. Privacy was total; we only interacted with the hosts when we wanted to, and otherwise it felt like a vacation spot. The bathroom with a shower was great: the floor seemed slightly heated so it stayed warm, and there were towels and shampoos. It was nice that they had a bug‑repellent device in the room, so we barely felt any insects or mice. Outside, the grass was neatly cut, almost like pathways leading to the lake. The lake was clean, though it drops sharply, so small children might get a bit tired when they go out. There were pine branches and firewood for cooking if needed. A hammock and a table (no cushions) were outside. The family with kids and grandparents enjoyed the spring, and we were delighted to find this place.
The only downside was the lack of Wi‑Fi, which we had expected. There was no washing machine, though it might not have been mentioned. The 2025 summer pool was also not present, and no photos were provided or mentioned that it would be there. The bedroom with twin beds was hard to navigate; it felt like a cupboard, and only a small window opened. In the evenings, there were bugs outside, and it was hard to repel them without scented candles or other means (by city standards). Regarding the doors—one room (the dining area with a sofa/bed) has separate doors from the corridor, while another bedroom, a transitional room with a sofa and bed, and the kitchen are not separated by doors. Just keep in mind that it's a small town with a coffee shop nearby.
