Little Bird

We booked one night because we were traveling from South Thailand to Northeast Thailand and needed a hotel near the highway, so the location was great. The room was simple but clean and quiet. We felt the owners seemed disinterested in the hotel: at check‑in someone handed us the key, but at check‑out the next morning no one was there. The bedside lamp had no bulb, the ceiling light in the bathroom was broken, the faucet was completely loose, one towel had a tear, and Wi‑Fi was switched off.

We really liked the accommodation, especially the well‑kept garden and the rooms with large modern bathrooms. The staff were truly excellent. The on‑site restaurant Papyllote was superb. After traveling on the evening train from Prachuap, we asked for a late check‑out, which was granted at 22:00 without extra charge. The only downside was the bright blue light from the air conditioner, which was extremely uncomfortable; we had to tape it to darken the room for sleep. The property is outside the city, so it’s best only if you have a vehicle (car, motorcycle, etc.).

The room was clean and the service was great, leaving a strong impression. The décor was lovely and shaded beautifully, and because the owner also runs the restaurant, the overall atmosphere was very good. No shortcomings were noticed during the stay.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. The setting was very pleasant.
