Nice space, good bed, and a top location. There were a few minor flaws that aren’t insurmountable but give a sense of poor upkeep—like a toilet seat and cabinet doors that don’t close properly.

The accommodation has an idyllic setting in central Amsterdam, quiet yet still central. The hotel staff were helpful and understanding. The value for money is completely inappropriate. For €218 per night I expected far more comfort. In this apartment you couldn’t sleep in the bed because it was under the roof, reached by a narrow staircase, and the room temperature was 30 °C. The small window wouldn’t open. The living‑room window couldn’t fully close and was completely cracked. The toilet seat was broken. Many surfaces—cabinet doors, floor, stairs—had peeling paint. The TV could not be set up by me or the staff. No breakfast was offered at that price.
