“Our room was spacious and clean - but the star is the food.”

The room was large, clean, and had everything needed; the food at dinner and breakfast was very good, the menu was interesting, well cooked and presented to a high standard, and reasonably priced for the quality; the staff were friendly and there was plenty of parking. However, some rooms are accessed via steep stairs that could be difficult for some travelers, and the outside covered area needs attention—tables were dirty and the area needs sweeping.

“Good stop over for one night”

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of good options, but the room was very cold; we had to ask about the heating and learn that there’s a thermostat in the corridor that must be adjusted, and there was no information in the room about this, so it took a while to warm up after the staff explained.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, parking was easy, the location was perfect for sightseeing, and the restaurant meals offered good quality and value.
