The meals were fantastic, but the room has a traditional Japanese layout, so you sleep on a mattress on the floor.

The hot spring was great 💓‼️ The outdoor bath was deeper than expected and scary, and it would have been nice to have a clock.

The presence of a hot spring was a highlight, and the breakfast and dinner were fantastic. When I missed the bus and wasn’t there for breakfast, they kindly provided rice balls. A kettle in the room let me brew coffee or tea freely.
