The spot is fantastic, right in Kensington’s heart, close to Queensway and Bayswater metro stops and a short walk from Portobello. The room is clean and fully equipped, even with tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, a heater, fan, hair dryer, and bathroom facilities. Breakfast, only £8, is excellent—classic continental. The reception is open 24 hours, and luggage storage is available and safe.

The location is excellent, very close to the metro, with many restaurants and shops nearby. It’s also within walking distance of Hyde Park, and the neighbourhood is beautiful and tidy. The room matched the listing and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink was clogged and water took hours to drain, so we ended up brushing our teeth in the bathtub to make it easier. Private‑bathroom rooms are on the fourth floor and there’s no elevator; the stairs are narrow, so be careful.
