The Fazeley Inn

Breakfast offered good value. There was no food available in the evening, even though it was advertised. The place was noisy both inside and outside.

The location was good and the staff were very welcoming. We could have used more pillows, and the ones we had were a bit too soft for my partner and me.

“Better than expected.”

The room turned out nicer than I expected, with a nearly new bathroom. The whole space was clean and comfortable, and there was free parking for guests. A kettle and tea/coffee were available in the room and at the bar. The view looked out onto the street but wasn’t too noisy. I didn’t order a meal, but the prices seemed cheap, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby, plus nice canal walks. The carpet in the hall and stairways could use replacement—it’s the first thing you see. The bed was a little soft but acceptable, and there was some bar noise that stopped at a reasonable hour.

“Friendly comfortable excellent value for money”

The spot is near eateries, and you can also dine in the hotel/pub. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar’s atmosphere was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The staff were always so welcoming and amazing, but it was disheartening to learn that another guest had their motorcycle stolen; the hotel should add CCTV or a secure gate to the rear car park.
