The location is great, but that's about it. We specifically booked a non-smoking room, but it had an ashtray and reeked of cigarette smoke - turns out everyone smokes everywhere, and the ventilation system brings it right into your room. The breakfast was also a letdown, with hardly any options for non-Chinese guests, so be prepared to bring your own snacks.

As the only international chain hotel in the area, it's a convenient choice, but that's where the positives end. We paid extra for the Executive King Room, expecting some perks, but it turned out to be identical to the cheaper Superior King Room - and the staff basically shrugged it off. The breakfast spread was pretty dismal, catering mainly to Chinese tastes, with hardly any cheese, bread, or olives, so pack your own if you can.

Honestly, everything was just okay. Nothing particularly impressed or disappointed me. It was a middle-of-the-road experience, and I'd probably stay here again if I had to, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
