The nearest convenience store is the Inuyama Station shop, about a five‑minute walk away, and while there’s a Yoshinoya roughly three minutes on foot, there really aren’t many places to eat nearby.

The place is simple yet comfortable, close to the castle town and the station, which made my stay pleasant; I liked being able to snack on cup‑ramen ice cream at night, but I was a little thrown off by the lack of a freezer.

The front desk staff were genuinely helpful and, even though I stayed multiple nights, they adapted to my needs on the fly; having a washing machine was a real lifesaver and I was pleased with the breakfast, though I was a bit disappointed that the afternoon tea slot was already full. The only downside was that there weren’t enough towels.
