The outdoor area is truly beautiful, and the accommodation definitely has potential. There is a fridge, but the bathroom supplies are minimal: only one body towel, no hand towel, and nothing besides soap. The bed linens were visibly dirty, which was hard to ignore. The hotel offers to arrange transport, but we’ll have to wait to see how the driver’s price hikes affect the hotel’s share. Breakfast was just okay.

The price‑to‑quality ratio is excellent. The beds and shower are good, but the room is very basic and missing items like a hair dryer, enough hangers, and a water bottle. The pool is great, with plenty of loungers, though the cushions could use replacement. The staff are friendly and helpful. A short ride by scooter—about 15–20 minutes—takes you to the harbor or a beach club, and there’s a lovely café just around the corner.

The price/value is decent, the neighborhood is quiet, and it’s easy to locate with a large parking space. The outdoor bathroom is nice. Sampalan is clearly the better choice compared to Toyapakeh, since the city only has a few cozy restaurants and lovely spots for sunrise or sunset dining. We had to change rooms because the blanket in the first room was stained. When we requested an early breakfast for our manta tour that began at 8:30 a.m., it wasn’t possible.
