The spot was in a solid location, but it ran a bit high on the price list compared to other hotels. It was spotless and just what I needed. Breakfast was in a nearby spot – Chinese breakfast isn’t for everyone, but it was decent. The entrance had a few steps. The seating was basic; those wooden chairs looked nice but were a bit hard to get used to, and the fridge was tiny.

I was really impressed! The hotel was colorful, felt like real traditional China. Very clean, especially the floors – I slipped a couple of times, almost fell, but it was so spotless. The metro is about 10‑15 minutes away. No one spoke English, but the staff tried hard to understand us, used a translator instead of just hoping for a miracle. No problem we couldn't solve, even with the language barrier. The bed was comfy, the room had everything, AC worked well.

The staff were super friendly, even though we spoke Chinese, they were very accommodating. The room was huge and unique – it’s a two‑storey building inside a traditional temple. They had this automated tea‑making table and taught us how to use it. Two toilets made it convenient. Towels and daily supplies were changed every day. The only downside was the stairs – because of the temple location, it was a pain to haul our suitcases up the many steps, but that was only on the first and last day.

The room was clean, spacious, the bed was soft, slept very well. Housekeeping cleaned daily, no cigarette smell. Four nights here was the best rest. Staff were kind and upgraded us to a bigger room, even added a bathtub. Very impressed. The only downside: maybe a bit far from the MRT station, but walking isn’t tiring, and there are several bus lines.
