The room itself was great, but the one across the hall had dogs barking all the time. When we checked out, those same dogs were still in a car outside in 90% weather. A coffee bar for guests would have been nice, and maybe a doggie daycare too.

There was no breakfast, and the winning machines were a negative.

Nothing was good; I drove 6 hours only to discover I had no room. Everything about this place was the worst experience I’ve had while traveling and I won’t use it again.

I can’t really think of anything to praise. The bed was bad, the shower was awful, and the room smelled funky—just not worth the money at all! I’m staying at a sleep inn right now for far less, and it feels like staying at the Ritz compared to Harrahs hotel in Metropolis.

The hotel and casino staff seemed friendly, the parking lots were well lit, and the rooms were decent. The room had a muggy smell, and although there was a refresh in the rooms and hallways, it still felt a little dated.
