Good location, 10‑15 minutes on foot from the walled city, a nice neighborhood to stay in. All good.
The staff were very attentive and kind, even offering us a tasty cake, and the location was great. The bed was excellent, everything was spotless and the room had everything we needed. The only downside was that the hot water in the shower ran out after a while.
“Adecuado a su precio”
The place was very pretty, there wasn’t too much space but it was fine, the bed was very comfortable and the air‑conditioning worked well. The only issue was that you have to climb a few stairs to get to the apartment from the street and again to reach the apartment.
It was close to the Old Town, had a nearby supermarket, and was quiet. The room was comfortable and clean. The host was very kind and welcoming. They greeted us with a cold drink and, when we left, offered us coffee and a bath. The only downside was that they didn't let anyone clean the room, but they left the clean towels at the entrance.
The place is perfect if you want to be in the old town; you’re a 10‑15 minute walk away (about 180 steps down and a bit of a slope without stairs). If you don’t want to climb back up, you can take a bus (the stop is 5 minutes away) or just a taxi/Uber for about 12 euros. The room was functional, the bed and mattress were good. We booked a sea‑view room, and from afar you could actually see the sea, otherwise it was just more apartments, but we kept the blinds closed because of the heat. The terrace was lovely and could be shared; it was a good spot to unwind away from crowds in the evenings. A bakery and a small supermarket are a 5‑minute walk around the corner. We barely got any replies to our messages. When we were outside, there were two doorbells; the lower one never rang. We called, and an older gentleman answered. He wasn’t unfriendly, but seemed annoyed. Note that you can’t drive up, not even to unload luggage, because the streets are narrow and you have to walk. You also have to climb a few stairs in the alley to reach the apartment, but that’s fine. On a Sunday you might be able to park in front of Mazda to unload luggage. About 300 m away is a public parking lot: 40 € for 24 h. If you use it, you must go to the ground‑floor parking house within 15 min (!) to exchange your ticket. The staff were very unfriendly (and you only see their hands). Otherwise it’s 7 € per hour! The old town is best visited between 7‑9 am, otherwise it’s crowded. We fled and took the bus (1.53 €/person), lines 4 or 6, to the west of the city toward Lipad. It was quieter and nicer there.
