Located 100 m from Aranjuez’s UNESCO‑listed Royal Palace and gardens, Hostal Real Aranjuez offers air‑conditioned rooms with free Wi‑Fi, modern décor, flat‑screen TVs and private bathrooms equipped with hairdryers; select rooms feature terraces. The on‑site restaurant provides a terrace dining experience with palace views. The Old Town, main shopping area, and train station (1.4 km) are within walking distance.

The location is unbeatable, the room was clean and had everything needed, and the reception staff were exceptionally kind.

I only liked the location. I paid for a 12‑square‑meter double superior room, as stated in the room conditions, but they handed me an economy room of about 8 square meters. I suspect it was because we were bringing our dogs and they wanted to keep us away from other guests, but that's just my feeling. Also, a robbery by armed men over the dogs at €26 a night and a pet fee. My two dogs together weighed less than 15 kilos. We ended up paying €130 for the night in a shabby hostel room with no breakfast. Another robbery by armed men. We have started a claim process. When we asked for the complaint sheet, they only gave us a brochure; we requested another copy because we need to keep two originals. The receptionist’s service leaves much to be desired, as if the other corridors or larger, brighter, better rooms were not available. We had paid for one of those, not what we were given. The hostel advertises that it is under renovation, but I saw no evidence anywhere; they would do better to invest a little.

Central location, the room wasn’t huge but it was comfortable and clean. There is no elevator.
