Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, a manga library, beauty treatments, and massages. Dining features home‑grown rice, vegetables, Japanese breakfast, and kaiseki dinners. The ryokan lies 25 minutes from Kuju Kogen Highlands and 60 minutes from Mount Aso.

Very welcoming, excellent breakfast; the room was a bit old and needed refreshing, and the walls were stained.

The accommodation felt very comfortable and the rooms were spacious; we especially enjoyed the private onsens and the excellent dinner, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

As a foreigner, we experienced all facets of Japanese service at this inn: sleeping on a futon, traditional meals, and a hot spring; the hotel is located on the roadside.
