The room and its cleanliness were fine. The check‑in was complicated: you receive instructions to access the room, which I feel should be handled by the property instead of the guest—vacation isn’t a job! Breakfast was awkward, served in an unappealing bar with just a pasta and a hot drink for about 3 euros; it’s not a B&B service. The self‑check‑in and off‑site breakfast should be mentioned in the description, not discovered on the day; that feels unfair.

The central location near Villa d'Este was a plus. The accommodation felt impersonal, with worn furniture, thin walls, and you could hear a hanger from the neighboring room.

The host answered questions quickly, daily housekeeping was excellent, and the restaurant tips and discounts were useful. The only downside was the lack of breakfast.

The spot was close to Villa d'Este, which we wanted to visit. We could park on the street nearby, and the room came with a parking pass. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was offered at a nearby restaurant; the coffee and croissants were good. The host was friendly and always responded to my messages. The coffee maker in the room was broken, so we couldn’t make coffee there. The entrance, through the shared kitchen, felt a bit unwelcoming.
