RAW Hostel made my Ha Giang Loop trip unforgettable. The hostel itself is spotless, with comfy rooms and immaculate toilets. Linh, the owner, is young, friendly, and knows how to plan a great adventure while keeping prices reasonable. The entire loop offered stunning mountain roads, vast valleys, rice terraces, villages, rivers, and amazing viewpoints. The team took us to hidden spots that added authenticity. Food was good, and the lodging felt five‑star. After long rides, the comfortable stays were a relief. The guides and drivers were experienced, friendly, and, most importantly, safe, so we felt secure all day. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, making the loop unforgettable. If you’re heading to Ha Giang, RAW Hostel is the place to be. You’ll make lifelong friends and you’ll thank yourself for choosing them. Huge thanks to Linh and the whole crew.

The family owners were very accommodating and kind, helping us throughout our stay, arranging the tour to Hagiang Loo and transportation. They were especially responsive, especially the owner. I recommend this hotel 1200% and will book again. ❤️

I booked a standard room that faced the terrace and the street, so I thought it would be noisy, but I actually slept well, especially since it wasn’t peak season. The hotel met all my basic expectations for the price, though the bathroom is tiny and the shower sits right over the toilet.

The dorm I stayed in was probably the best I’ve had in Vietnam; the beds are much larger than usual, and even as a tall person I could sit up comfortably because the bunk beds have a very high ceiling. Everything was brand‑new and the place wasn’t crowded at all. Since there were no huge tour groups, I ended up with the whole room to myself, which felt like a private room with all the essentials: air conditioning, a fan, charging outlets, and everything was spotless. The bathroom was immaculate, the staff were incredibly friendly and even helped me secure my motorbike, and there’s an amazing banh mi shop right on the door that I ended up eating at more than once.
