Platforma Design Hotel

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very central, making it easy to get everywhere. The hotel itself has a beautiful, modern design which we really liked. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish place in the center of things. First, the refrigerator in the room did not work. For me, a working fridge is a critical amenity that I always look for when booking. We reported this to the staff multiple times. They tried to fix it but failed, and then promised to bring a new one, which never happened. The absolute minimum is to offer some form of compensation or a discount, but nothing was offered. Second, we asked for toilet paper late in the evening. It turned out that the staff on duty didn't even have a key to the storage room where it was kept (apparently only housekeeping has access). I had to wait for about 15 minutes just to get toilet paper. This is not standard for a hotel

“Great location and a clean, comfortable apartment, but a few service details could be improved.”

The apartment was spotless, pleasant, and quite roomy, and the hotel’s lobby was also nice. Its spot is unbeatable—right beside a small park in the heart of Tbilisi, surrounded by cafés and restaurants, yet surprisingly quiet at night, which made it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. However, when we arrived we had to wait 10–15 minutes to find a staff member for check‑in, and no one apologized or acknowledged the delay, which felt odd. I had booked a specific room in advance and was told it would be ready, but when we got there it had already been assigned to other guests, so better communication would have helped. The hair dryer in our room barely worked, and when I asked for a replacement there wasn’t a spare portable unit available; the hotel should keep a few spares for such situations, especially in colder weather, though the warm weather during our visit made it a minor issue.
