The staff were great. The place is run down and I saw a couple of bugs in the bathroom.

“You get what you for. One night was fine. Outdated property. Will book elsewhere next time.”

Good location, an in‑room refrigerator, and free parking. Travelodge texted me offering early check‑in, but the hotel couldn’t accommodate that when I arrived. The room was really small, the A/C unit didn’t work well, and the door didn’t feel secure. The property is very old and needs updating.

Nothing positive. The receptionist, a young Asian girl, was very rude; she took all her time to attend to us and only came to the desk after 20 minutes. She was very rude, had long exaggerated nails, a lot of makeup, and gave us the impression that something illegal was happening there—almost like a brothel. Never again.

The staff, especially manager Anna, were all amazing—very courteous, professional, and warm, making the stay feel like home. The rooms are clean, the beds are so comfortable, and I always feel safe there. Overall, one of the best places for frequent travelers like me.

“The room was clean and I asked for a downstairs room and we got one.”

The spot was spot on—just a block from City Walk at Universal Studios, with charming antique shops and a bakery that offered great prices. When we got in, the room felt warm; usually the AC is on before we arrive. One day there was no hot water, but that got sorted quickly. I tried to speak to the manager in the office, but she was on the phone and ignored me; when my husband joined, she finally answered after hanging up.
