The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Haidian Huang Zhuang Subway Station and 15 minutes by taxi from Peking and Tsinghua universities. Spacious rooms feature modern interiors, minibars, and 37-inch flat-screen TVs.

I stayed a month at the hotel, breakfasts were tasty and varied enough. Special thanks to manager Elena, who helped solve every issue. Great that the hotel has such a wonderful staff member who speaks English, Russian and Chinese. The gym is not great – few machines.

Ms. Guo Yuqin, who cleaned our room, kept asking if we needed a mouse pad and, noticing the heat, offered us four extra bottles of water – her service was flawless.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Everyone – front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff – was exceptionally warm and accommodating. Rooms were clean and quiet. The gym and pool were nice. Breakfast offered a wide variety. I would definitely stay again.

Even though it’s an old five‑star property with some dated facilities, a week’s stay made me feel right at home and the staff were exceptionally friendly, greeting us proactively. Cleaning staff member Li Lingmei was warm and attentive to the smallest requests, and Mei on the third‑floor gym went above and beyond: after I forgot a piece of clothing at the gym, she kept it, washed it, and even shipped it back to me smelling fresh, which really moved me. The only drawbacks were a floor nail behind the door that’s easy to trip over and a strong drain odor in the bathroom when it rains.
