The warm welcome and farewell from Mr. and Mrs. Förg, the calm and seclusion, and the fact that even though we live in a quiet, low‑traffic area, Maurerhof felt even more tranquil. The booked apartment was spacious and equipped with everything needed for daily life. In Ruhpolding you can easily stock up on groceries and everyday items. I especially recommend the café and bakery in the centre of Ruhpolding.

The surroundings and the many options available with the Chiemgau‑card are great, saving you a lot. However, the place is truly remote, and for children there’s almost nothing except a slide and a swing. A pool or a proper playground would be worthwhile. Unfortunately, we were heavily disturbed at night, and sleep was impossible because mosquitoes kept finding their way into the rooms… :-(

Alles war Top. Der ganze Hof und das Haus sind sehr gepflegt. Die Lage sehr ruhig und die Vermieter sehr freundlich. Viele Möglichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung in der Nähe für jedes Alter. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und werden sicher nochmal wiederkommen. Nichts

The holiday apartment was large and spacious, with a very nice bathroom. Everything was present and very clean, and the view was beautiful. The hosts greeted us nicely and were friendly. Nothing to criticize.
