The hostel was quiet and the single room had a comfy bed. The location was spot on for what I needed. But the linens smelled like the previous guest and the sheet was on the wrong side, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

The host was attentive and friendly. The dishes, though clean, had a strong spice smell that lingered.

The location was great and Sumé, the owner, really tried to make you comfortable. However, when I arrived at 10:30 pm there was no one to help; I knocked for 20 minutes and had to ask a homeless woman to walk 500 m to find the owners at a nearby restaurant. The old house feels like a 25‑year‑old renovation, and I was alone most of the time—no staff during the day or night. The shower and kitchen weren't spotless, I couldn’t pay with a credit card, and the reviews don’t match the experience.
