Econo Lodge Aiken Central

“Okay for cost compared to other hotels but not for me.”

The location was good and the bed comfortable, parking was ample and the staff were friendly. On the downside, the room was dated, one of the rooms booked was not what was selected, I had to ask for a clean headboard and both towels and pillows needed a good bleach. I ended up buying a pillow and towels from the store across the road.

The property was extremely nasty. I was staying there for a few days because I work out of town. I noticed that when I had come back from work, I made came in and cleaned the room, but they also use the bathroom and did not flush the toilet. Just left their pee and everything all in the toilet room smelled horrific when I came back worst experience ever. The place is extremely outdated. Will never come back.

“Better than I expected.”

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the place offered excellent value for money; I stayed there for two weeks while searching for permanent accommodation and felt very comfortable. They manage to get all the basics right on a low budget.

The customer service was amazing, but I was woken up at 1 am by the front desk phone blaring, accusing me of having a dog in the room even though I have no pet. There was also a lot of loitering around the premises, which made it feel unsafe for children.
