We liked the location and found the room quite spacious, but breakfast only offered bread and lacked the variety shown in the Booking pictures. When we entered our floor, a loose door iron fell on our heads. I understand the lodge’s concept is social interaction, yet it feels wrong to allow people to camp in the corridor to watch movies, especially when the bathrooms are shared and the women’s pool requires walking across the entire corridor, which caused embarrassment not only for me, who had to politely ask to pass, but also for those watching the film. Our room key stopped working before 12:00 (check‑out time), so after we finished our hygiene we had no access to the room where all our belongings were, and we walked for 20 minutes looking for someone in the lodge—on every floor and in every room—who could help us, because we had no phone to call and no staff present. Only after those 20 minutes did a cleaning lady who had been outside appear and let us back into the room to get dressed and pack to leave, while she made an unpleasant remark that “the key didn’t work because it was already past 12.” Considering we had been looking for 20 minutes and left the room around 11:30, the key had been non‑functional for at least 20 minutes or half an hour.
